My Game Guide

Why I wrote this guide.

I’m writing this guide becuase, when you’re stumbling down a path with bulky armor and a big

weapon, it’s good to know somebody is near you, helping, guiding you to your destination, no

matter how far it is, they’ll be there.

Why would you want to be a hybrid?

It might seem strange to you, that my instructions are differant than what your friends said,
perhaps they said my path is stupid, because not many have travelled it.

Hybrids get the best of both second and third job advancements –two weapons in second, two

attacks in third–you miss out on +20 defence, but that’s only 7 - 8 less damage.

Pros and Cons

Pros of spearman as a warrior class:

- Longer range damage than other warriors

- Most average damage of any warrior class due to forced stab in third job

- Cool skills–Most of the DK skills superimpose a dragon over you

-White Knights are speed, DKs are power

Cons of spearman as a warrior class:

- Slashes with spears do much less damage than stabs

- Stabs with polearms do much less damage than slashes

- Lower max damage with any skill compared to crusaders 5 orb hits of 1750% to one target or

1000% per target to 6 targets.

Pros of hybrid over reg:

- Can use both training skills in 3rd job

- Having two weapon masteries is better than the +20 def skill….

- Better use of your skill points

Cons of hybrid over reg:

- No +20 DEF skill(Whoo, big loss…)

- Nine Dragons is ‘fugly’

Requirements:

- 35 STR

- Level 10

To get your first job as warrior, go to Perion via the Taxi or walking(Map provided in-game), go to

the top, enter the large building, talk to Dances With Balrog and accept the Warrior job.
