Crusader/ Fighter/ Warrior guide
-What is Maple Story? [0.4] Well, Maple Story (here on out called MS) is a Korean/Japanese/English Free to Play Online Game created by Wizet (Now owned by Nexon). MS is a 2D anime style RPG featuring various “Jobs” (Warrior, Magician, Thief, and Bowman). To level up, The player must fight monsters, gain items, and complete quests. MS is an addictive game to many and some may spend countless Hours/days (literally) playing this game. I have been playing This game for nearly 4 years, trust me, it's addictive. ================================================================== [0.5] Starting Maplestory -Downloading Maple / Starting Maple[0.6] Go to http://mapleglobal.com to get the American version, http://mapleeurope.com for the European Version or http://maplesea.com if you're from South East Asia. Ok, download the version that suits you, now register to that Version on the website, once you have finished installing maple, Run it (it's the little orange mushroom) and type in the username And password you used to register on the site with, now click on you're gender, and click Create a new character =]] -Controls [0.7] Switching Channels Press Menu (or hit ESC), Change Channels Chat Box Make sure you press the little '+' sign At the bottom centre of your screen to See what has been said more clearly Healing Find a safe place and stand still for A while or use potions) Recovering MP MP Regenerates automatically (or use potions) Pick up items Press Z World Map Press W Inventory Press I Statistics (AP) Press S For more controls click on your Key Settings at the bottom right Of screen. My favourite button is F6. -Creating A new character / Dice rolling [0.8] Click on create new character when you are signed in to whatever Server you would like makes your character appearance anyway you See fit and also name it. Ok, now time to do the DICE ROLL! Try As hard as you can to roll your INT and LUK to a 4/4, it doesn’t Matter about what your STR and DEX are, just as long as you get a 4/4 on INT and LUK. Remember! This is to make your perfect warrior. (Note that you can roll the dice as long as you want although Sometimes getting 4/4 for INT and LUK takes a long time.) Also, If you can't get 4/4 on INT and LUK then try to get at least 4/5 or 5/5 if you plan on buying AP later. -Maple Island, Starting you’re character [0.9] Ok, now you're in noob* island (Maple Island) and you know the controls? good. =] I recommend You do all the quest on maple island until level 9 because if you leave any earlier there's a high chance of being ksed which leads to you earning less exp. *noob: someone new to networking/gaming as it seems -Stats [1.0] ok, well you should have you're dex +2 of you're level so just say you were level 12 you're dex should be 14. make sure you're dex is at 60 by level 30 so you can hit stronger monsters. the more STR the more dmg, the more DEX the more ACC (&some dmg, not as much as STR though) Once you are level 30 Stop adding dex, just add str each level until you are level 40 then start adding dex. So for example: Lv1 STR=9 Lv6 STR=30 DEX=8 DEX=12 Lv2 STR=14 Lv7 STR=33 DEX=8 DEX=14 Lv3 STR=19 Lv8 STR=36 DEX=8 DEX=16 Lv4 STR=24 Lv9 STR=39 DEX=8 DEX=18 Lv5 STR=27 Lv10 STR=42 DEX=10 DEX=20 oh and I forgot to mention for the noob skills Put all your SP into Three Snails and Nimble Feet. As a Warrior you don't have any long range attacks so Three Snails is sometimes useful even at later levels. Nimble feet is good for travelling or just running away. Recovery is quite useless considering the amount of HP warriors have later so don’t max that =] Leave at level 9, so you don't get ksed (as much...) ================================================================== 1.1 1st job! -Why be a warrior? [1.2] 1. Easiest to level 1-10 2. Best melee dmg (Per single hit =]) 3. Slash blast owns =]] 5. Huge health -Why not be a warrior? [1.3] 1. Hard to level 20-30 if not training right 2. Hard class to use compared to Mages & Thief’s 3. Not much mp.... 4. Aren’t ranged so you have to hit stuff close = [ 5. Hard to pq as accuracy is low and damage is really unstable. -Becoming a warrior [1.4] ok, so you have left Noob Island and are level 10? OK! In lith harbour go all the way on the left of the map and talk to the guy in the stall next to Jane and go to perion. Now you're in perion, go to the top of the map, where you'll find a building (The biggest building in Perion of all). Walk in, and you'll see Dances With Balrog (That's his name), Talk to him and he says as long as you have 35 STR and are Level 10, you can become a Warrior! Congrats, You are now a warrior =] You would have gained about 80-120 hp which is very useful =] Now let's look at you're SP! -Skill Descriptions [1.5] First of all I will explain to you what each skill does: ================================================================== [Improving HP Recovery] Max level: 16 Requirements: none This skill will improve the amount of HP you get when you Stand still for 10 seconds. It's not necessary, but is pretty good at lower levels. Level 1: Recover additional +3 Level 8: Recover additional +24 Level 16: Recover additional +50 ================================================================== [Improving MAX HP] Max level: 10 Requirements: 5 in Improving HP recovery While having a level up and if an Ability Point is used to increase the amount of HP, it raises the level of increase for Max HP. Level 1: Add 3 more for Max HP when level up Level 5: Add 15 more for Max HP when level up Level 10: Add 30 more for Max HP when level up ================================================================== [Endure:] Max level: 8 Requirements: 3 Improving Max HP Even while hanging on a rope or on a ladder, you will be able to recover some HP after a certain amount of time. The higher the level, the faster the recovery time. Level 1: Recover HP every 31 seconds Level 4: Recover HP every 22 seconds Level 8: Recover HP every 10 seconds ================================================================== [Iron Body] Max level: 20 Requirements: 3 Endure Temporarily increases your weapon's defence. At max level, it does 260% damage of your normal attack, which simply is awesome. You basically HAVE to max this; it's one of the greatest skills You will use, You will still be using this skill at level 70+ Until you get Coma/Combo which means it's a must to max! Level 1: MP -6; Sword damage 108% Level 10: MP -6; Sword damage 180% Level 20: MP -12; Sword damage 260% ================================================================== [Slash Blast] Max level: 20 Requirements: 1 Power Strike Your main mob skill. You lose HP and MP when using this skill. It attacks 6 monsters within your weapon range at 130% of your damage at level 20. Some leave it at lv10, where it does 94% damage, while not having to deal with the double MP/HP cost, where as others prefer to max it so they can level faster, the choice is yours... Level 1: MP -7; HP -8, damage 56% Level 10: MP -7; HP -8, damage 92% Level 20: MP -14; HP -16, damage 130% ================================================================== -Builds [1.6] My Build (...) level 10 -1 Improving HP Recovery level 11 -3 Improving HP Recovery level 12 -1 Improving HP Recovery, 2 Improving Max HP Increase level 13 -3 Improving Max HP Increase level 14 -3 Improving Max HP Increase level 15 -3 Improving Max HP Increase level 16 -3 Improving Max HP Increase level 17 -2 Improving Max HP Increase , 1 PS level 18 -3 SB level 19 -3 SB level 20 -3 SB level 21 -3 SB level 22 -3 SB level 23 -3 SB level 24 -2 SB , 1 PS level 25 -3 PS level 26 -3 PS level 27 -3 PS level 28 -3 PS level 29 -3 PS Level 30 -3 PS at the end the build would be: Improving HP recovery Maxed Improving max HP maxed PS & SB maxed ================================================================== Cheap / Health Build (Common, weak early on, high hp later) level 10 -1 Improving HP Recovery level 11 -3 Improving HP Recovery level 12 -1 Improving HP Recovery, 2 Improving Max HP level 13 -3 Improving Max HP level 14 -3 Improving Max HP level 15 -2 Improving Max HP 1 Improving HP Recovery level 16 -3 Improving HP Recovery level 17 -3 Improving HP Recovery level 18 -3 Improving HP Recovery level 19 -1 Improving HP Recovery (Maxed), 2 Endure level 20 -3 Endure level 21 -3 Endure (maxed) level 22 -3 PS/SB level 23 -3 PS/SB level 24 -3 PS/SB level 25 -3 PS/SB level 26 -3 PS/SB level 27 -3 PS/SB level 28 -1 PS/SB (Maxed), 2 Iron Body level 29 -3 Iron Body Level 30 -3 Iron Body at the end the build be: Improving HP recovery Maxed Improving max HP maxed Endure maxed PS/SB maxed Iron Body level 8. ================================================================== Strong build - Good for doing dmg early on, Not Recomended level 10 -1 PS level 11 -3 PS level 12 -3 PS level 13 -3 PS level 14 -3 PS level 15 -3 PS level 16 -3 PS level 17 -1 PS (maxed), 2 Improving HP Recovery level 18 -3 Improving HP Recovery level 19 -3 Improving Max HP Increase level 20 -3 Improving Max HP Increase level 21 -3 Improving Max HP Increase level 22 -1 Improving Max HP Increase (maxed), 2 SB level 23 -3 SB level 24 -3 SB level 25 -3 SB level 26 -3 SB level 27 -3 SB level 28 -3 SB (Maxed) level 29 -3 Improving HP Recovery Level 30 -3 Improving HP Recovery at the end the build would look like PS maxed Improving Max Hp Increase Max SB maxed Improving Max Hp Recovery level 11 ================================================================== Average build - not too bad... PQPQPQPQPQPQPQPQPQPQPQPQ!!!!1 YOU MUST DO PQ! lol, high exp and good rewards, if not you could train in the Dungeon on Green mushrooms or Horny Mushrooms. ================================================================== [1.8] 1st & 2nd PQ! -1st PQ: HPQ [1.9] -Description of HPQ [DESC1] The 1st PQ is in Henesys. A party of 3, including the leader, goes into an area where you have to hit plants to obtain seeds of a variety of colors. You then place the seeds on a platform. If they grow into a flower you have put it in the right place, if not try another platform. Once all the seeds have flowered a bunny will appear and it will be attacked by monsters. You must defend the bunny so it can make moon rice cakes for Growly. A fairly simple quest, it requires you to be level 10 and up. -What you do in HPQ [WYD1] What you have to do is hit the plants, causing them to drop seeds. Then you put the seeds on the floating grass, but not just anywhere. You have to put them in certon places, depending on the seed's color. Blue seed-Upper Left patch of grass Green Seed-Upper Right patch Yellow Seed-Middle Left patch Purple Seed-Middle Right Brown Seed-Lower Left patch Pink Seed-Lower Right patch When all the seeds are in the right place of the floating grass, it disapears and a flower appears. When all 6 seeds are in place, the Moon Bunny will appear near the center. Now is when the real action starts. Now you have to deffend the Moon Bunny from flying monsters while it's making rice cakes. The monsters don't really have much HP, but wave after wave will just keep comming until the leader has 10 rice cakes and talks to Growlie. Until then, the Moon Bunny will also keep making rice cakes. The monsters will come from every angle of the screen so it's best to either split up in certain areas or all stay in one spot, I recomend you split up. Once the leader has all 10 rice cakes you willall go to another room, whee the leader can decide weather to rush or go to bonus. What the bonus consists of: Pigs, Ribboned pigs, some Iron pigs (don't need much acc to hit in hpq), which is decent exp for you're lvl. ================================================================== -2nd PQ: KPQ [*2] [2.0] -Description of KPQ [DESK2] The 2nd Accompaniment is in Kerning City. A party of 4, including the leader, goes through 5 stages solving puzzles and killing monsters within 30 minutes. The main idea is teamwork, since each part requires all party members to participate. At the end, a prize is given to each person ranging from ores, equipment, scrolls to potions. Only one party can be inside the party quest at any given time on one channel. There is also a time limit for completing the party quest. The time is inaccurate, though, as it usually does not boot people out until about 30 seconds have elapsed after the minutes are over. The level limit For this accompaniment is 21-30. [*2]KPQ = Kerning Party Quest -What you do in KPQ [WYD2] -stage 1 You must be in a party of 4, and must e lvl 21-30 [*3], I recomend that you, being a warrior start kpq'ing at lvl 25+ because you wont have much accuracy if you go in under lvl 25 (unless funded) Kpq is one of my favorites out of all the pqs (OPQ is my favorite, but Kpq is close =]) Well, first you have to be in Kerning, and stand next to the sewer pipes saying something like 'J>PQ' then you will get a party invite, accept it. The leader then keeps clicking on Lakelis Now, waiting to get into a pq may take some time because there are other people who also want to go in, but don't worry, Just keep waiting.. i'm sure the leader will eventualy get you in. KPQ Basically has 4 stages, 6 if you class Boss stage and bonus. ok, once you are in you will have to see how many tickets you need to collect (so you can get to the 2nd stage), so you must go and talk to Cloto to see how many you need. collect coupons equal to the answer of the question from the Ligators on the platforms. The Ligators have around 600-800 health and reduced avoidability. The questions and the answer are stated below, from smallest to largest. Question: Minimum level for the mage's 1st job advancement Answer: 8 Question: Minimum level for the warrior/bowman/thief's 1st job advancement Answer: 10 Question: Amount of experience it takes to get from level 1 to 2 Answer: 15 Question: Minimum INT needed for the 1st mage to advancement Answer: 20 Question: Minimum DEX needed for the 1st thief/bowman advancement Answer: 25 Question: Minimum STR needed for the 1st warrior advancement Answer: 35 Once you have fought Ligators and got the correct amount of tickets speak to Cloto and she will exchange them for a pass! Nw, give you're pass to the leader (once he has passes from everyone you can go to the next stage) oh and if anyone dies in KPQ then don't worry! you only need 2 passes then =] [*3] You can lvl up in KPQ to lvl 31 and still continue, but once you leave you can't go back in. =] -stage 2 ok, this stage is simple, choose a vine [*4] to climb on. When all 3 members are on a separate vine each, then the leader Clicks on the NPC [*5]. If a huge 'WRONG' comes up, then move to another vine [*6]... Then have the leader click again. keep trying until, finally, a huge 'CLEAR' goes onto the screen. Now go through the portal (Blue door looking thing) and it's stage 3! [*4] Two members cannot be on the same vine. [*5] NPC = Non player character / Non playable Character [*6] A empty vine mush1l.gif''' -Stage 3 This is much more confusing. What you must do is go to the top, jump on one of the platforms [*7] You'll notice there are kittens on each platform. It's Sorta like the 2nd stage, you have to jump on a possible platform. You should try every possibility. Use the standard numerical format 123, 124, 125, 134, 135, 145, 234, 235, 245, 345 One of the more experienced pqers would probably shout out you're name and a number.. don't think of them as ignorant, they are just trying to help you =] so just say you're name is Hero666 and a pq member says 'ZOMFG 666 GET TO 3 NOW!!11' then move to the platform with 3 cats, don't argue, it's not worth it. And just keep swapping places untill you see a huge 'CLEAR' =] Once you have cleared it's time for stage 4 [*7] You can tell which number each platform is by looking at the cats =]] 1 cat = number 1 and so forth... -stage 4 ok, this is more annoying then all the stages in KPQ together... Get up to the top first. Then choose a barrel (1,2,3,4,5,6) and jump on. VERY similar to the last, so I wont eplain it much... best order; 123,124,125,126,134,135,136,145,146,156, 234,235,236,245,246,256,345,346,356,456 it's simple once you get used to it. (you better get used to it or you would suck at Ludi =] [*8] ) Now it's time for the 5th step / Boss [*8] Unless somone will be kind enough to help mush1l.gif' you will most likely be flamed though. Flamed = Somone shouting at you / being aggressive -Boss / stage 5 All you bassically do is kill all the monsters grab all the tickets, give the leader the tickets.. simple.. so no more explanations are needed here >=0 apart from King Slime of course KING SLIME - You're first Mini Boss =\\ HP = 8000 MP = 100 Wpn Atk = 130 Mgc Atk = 160 Wpn Def = 160 Mgc Def = 160 Speed = 0 Hit Cap = 140 Avd Cap = 10 TIME TO PROVE YOU ARE A TRUE HERO! SOLO TIME! You will truely make all other classes jealus of you by soloing King Slime (Which you can solo at lvl 27+) He could deal 200+ damage to lv30s with his Tremor attack, It will only take you about 8 hits to kill it, which eventhough people think mages are best for KPQING are wrong because mages only do like 300-400dmg at that stage wheras you could do about 600-1000... sins also suck at KPQ, bowmen.. now that's another story, they are pretty decent too, possibly just as good as you. You also have high hp & def so his attacks wont be so harsh on you =] After a while, he'll send out a signal with his antenna. Several small slimes (lv6, 50Hp) will now appear and disrupt your attack wave for a few seconds. You should notice a few small platforms up the top. When the slimes chase you to one side, climb up, jump to the other side and fall down so you can attack him from behind [*9]. Once you have killed him alot of slimes will pop up. Some people say that you shouldn't kill them because your prize becomes worse. It's a proven fact that that's a myth, So no penalty for killing the slimes. [*9] You do more dmg from hitting behind then from hitting in front, damn these astarecs are getting long mush1l.gif''' -Bonus / Stage 6 This stage is for a few reasons, 1. Exp 2. Gives you time to reform you're party 3. To show their rewards 4. To 'Hog'[*10] [*10] Hog = Stay in bonus and train until time runs out. Here's some Valuable items that you could get: 10% Scroll for Glove Dexterity 10% Scroll for Overall Dexterity 3 Black Crystal Ores 3 Diamond Ores Weight Earrings (needed for lv25 earring quest) Blue Bamboo Hat (lv25) 30 Screws & more, however I wont post the other items as I think they are useless IMO [*11] [*11] IMO = In my Oppinion ================================================================== Second job! [2.1] -why be a Fighter? [2.2] 1. Most melee dmg in game. (Single hit wise.) 2. Great soloers 3. when crusader you could reach over 50k dmg! 4. Don't need alot of funding 5. power Guard (A amount of damage you recieve is done to enemy) 6. Pretty fast swords/axes (Compared to spears..) 7. Rage, so you can do more dmg (some pots are better, but cost money, and on some versions of maple don't exist (EMS for example) 8. Great against bosses, whenever a crusader goes into zombie MM everyone CC's (some crusaders 1 hit ko MM) -why not be a fighter/Crusader? [2.3] 1. Because they are pretty hard... 2. Some think they are bad for mobbing, I don't think they are because they have shout, but shout is pretty weak. 3. Don't have the time 4. level slow -Why use swords? [2.4] 1. Most minimum dmg 2. Cheap scrolls -why use axes? [2.5] 1. Mostmaximum dmg 2. Cheaper scrolls -Becoming a Fighter [2.6] Congratulations you are now level 30 (I'm assuming...) now you can become a Fighter! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY XZOMFG! WHOA HIGH DMG PLEASE!!!!!11111 That is exactly what I thought when I made mine =] and it's only natural to think that, because it’s true =] Anyway, go to Perion and to the top (in the biggest Perion building) and speak to Dances with Balrog (The guy who gave you you're 1st job) and speak to him, he wants you to prove yourself and gives you a letter Now go to the bottom left of perion and enter the portal, now go to then next portal and keep going up through the portals, you will see the guy in no time! Speak to him and he will challenge you, in which you have to fight Fire Boars & Lupins (monkeys) to gain 30 Marbles, once you have fought the monsters and got the marbles speak to the guy, he will give you a medal/medallion now return to perion and speak again to Dances with Balrog and say you are ready to choose you're occupation and select Fighter. Congratulations, you are a Fighter. You are well on you're way to becoming a Crusader and beyond! -Skill descriptions [2.7] ================================================================== Mastery - This should be raised to level 19 or 20 before you start bringing up any other skills. The increased minimum damage and accuracy is very important. ================================================================== Final Attack - This is a good choice if you like to fight powerful monsters with Power Strike or Slash Blast instead of normal hitting. It lets you land an extra attack right after using a skill attack (Power Strike or Slash Blast) without using any MP. However, it can hurt you if you don't know how to use it. Because a Final Attack takes less time to use than a normal attack, it may hit the enemy before it recovers from the first knockback. This results in a failure to knockback the enemy with the Final Attack, even if you do sufficient damage. Against slow enemies such as Stone Golems, this is not a big problem. On the other hand, a normal speed monster may hit you before you kill/knockback with a third hit, and a pepe could even avoid your attack if it is lucky enough. To get around this problem, either fight monsters that you will almost always kill in 1-2 hits. ================================================================== Booster - This is a very important skill if you use two-handed axes. The reason for this is because two-handed axes are the slowest of all weapons available to the Fighter. However, adding points increases the duration and decreases HP/MP cost without making the weapon any faster. For this reason, you only need 5-6 points to start off with, and can add more later. At level 6, it costs 24 HP/MP and lasts for 60 seconds. This skill should probably be taken second or third if you use two-handed axes, and any time you want for other weapons. ================================================================== Rage - This is an extremely useful skill. Once you raise it to level 19-20, it adds 10 Attack Power, which is like having a sparta stronger than a doombringer, which is what having a weapon 10 levels higher means. After using Iron Body, the defence penalty is completely negated. After applying multipliers from Power Strike and Slash Blast, this can easily raise your damage by a few hundred per hit. This would make a good second skill if you don't mind spending the extra MP on it. It costs 20 MP for 160 seconds at level 20. ================================================================== Power Guard - This is a powerful defensive skill. When you are hit with a touch attack (when you are ran or hitten by monsters), it reduces the damage done to you by a certain percent and also does that amount of damage to the monster. For example, an attack that would normally do 100 damage to you would do only 60 to you with level 30 Power Guard, and would also do 40 damage to the monster. However, it has a fairly high MP cost and short duration compared with other Fighter spells. This skill will reduce the damage you take by a lot, but also eats up MP pretty quickly and has to be recast often. It's up to you to decide when the HP it saves You’re worth the MP and repeated casting. ================================================================== -Builds [2.8] Recomended Build =] Level 30 - 1 Sword/Axe Mastery Level 31 - 3 Sword/Axe Mastery Level 32 - 3 Sword/Axe Mastery Level 33 - 3 Sword/Axe Mastery Level 34 - 3 Sword/Axe Mastery Level 35 - 3 Sword/Axe Mastery Level 36 - 3 Sword/Axe Mastery Level 37 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 38 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 39 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 40 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 41 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 42 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 43 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 44 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 45 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 46 - 3 Final Attack: Sword/Axe Level 47 - 3 Rage Level 48 - 3 Rage Level 49 - 3 Rage Level 50 - 3 Rage Level 51 - 3 Rage Level 52 - 3 Rage Level 53 - 2 Rage ,1 Power Guard Level 54 - 3 Power Guard Level 55 - 3 Power Guard Level 56 - 3 Power Guard Level 57 - 3 Power Guard Level 58 - 3 Power Guard Level 59 - 3 Power Guard Level 60 - 3 Power Guard Level 61 - 3 Power Guard Level 62 - 3 Power Guard Level 63 - 2 Power Guard Level 64 - 3 Sword/Axe Booster Level 65 - 3 Sword/Axe Booster Level 66 - 3 Sword/Axe Booster Level 67 - 3 Sword/Axe Booster Level 68 - 3 Sword/Axe Booster Level 69 - 3 Sword/Axe Booster Level 70 - 2 sword/Axe Booster ,1 anything mush1l.gif''' So the end of this you're skills will be: Mastery Maxed Final Attack Maxed Power Guard Maxed Rage Maxed Weapon Booster Maxed 1 into Anything -Training guide / Where to level [2.9] 30 - 35: Jr Kitties, Wild Boars, Zombie Mushroom or Evil eyes 35 - 40: PQ IS GREAT FOR EXP AND ITEMS or Jr Kitties, Fire Boars, Jr wraiths, Evil eyes, pepes 40 - 45: Ludi PQ, JR Kitties, Copper Drakes, JR Pepes. There are 9 stages to this quest, requiring 6 party members. This quest pushes on the fact that a variety of jobs are needed to complete the quest. The many skills each character has, such as Haste, Heal, Darksight, and Teleport are needed in order to pass some of the stages. This PQ has a new attribute that the first one does not, boxes. Boxes are opened by using a melee attack, opening the box either drops a pass, or spawns monsters. After defeating the boss on the 9th stage, there is a bonus stage in which characters open boxes. The boxes will drop lots of coins, potions and sometimes, a random equipment (earrings, and capes). After this stage, which lasts for 1 minute, the prize is given. Prizes consist of potions, ores, and equipment. The level limit for this PQ is 35-50, I recomend you LPQ at lvl40. -What you do in LPQ [WYD3] First you must join a party of 6, then you need to cc [*12] to whichever channel the leader tells you to go to. then once you have entered you will be in stage 1. -Stage One Move up and down the area, killing the black ratz. They've got a little more HP than usual. Each kill will net you one coupon. Give them to your leader, then have him talk to the red balloons NPC to open the portal to the next stage. Have 2 or 3 of your party members go through the portal. The rest, wait a moment. -Stage Two The 2 or 3 members who went through should go down to the second box. When they hit it, all the members you sent into Stage Two will be moved to the Tower's Trap. Basically it's just a mini-stage to do, but since you've got 3 or 4 other party members waiting to come through, you can do Stage Two and Tower's Trap simultaneously. Once the 2 or 3 have been taken to the Trap, the other members should go through the portal and beat Stage Two as usual. Both groups need to hit all the blue boxes they come across; each one will drop a coupon. You may need a Mage in the trap to teleport over to a difficult-to- reach box. When both groups are done, give all 15 tickets to the leader and have him talk to the orange balloons. Everyone go through the portal. -Stage Three Most of the boxes in this stage will spawn Bloctopus, which each drop a coupon when killed. Your party should split up. Half can go down and smash the boxes as they go. The bloctopus will fall down to the bottom area, where you can easily mob attack them. The other half should go up and kill all the bloctopus up there. Give all your coupons to the leader, who gives them to the yellow balloons. Go through the portal. -Stage Four When you reach this stage, everyone should drop down to the bottom. Then work your way up. When you reach a portal (the bottom and top portals don't do anything), mark that you went in by dropping 10 mesos or an item near the portal. Then go in. Inside it's completely dark and there are 1 or more monsters inside. The monsters are black so you can't see them, but every once in awhile they will open their eyes. You can only hit them when their eyes are open. Once you're done, leave through one of the portals in your room. Then if there are any more unmarked portals, do one of those rooms, otherwise go up to the balloons and wait for the rest of your party. Drop your coupons. The leader should click the lime-green balloons to open the portal. Everybody through. -Stage Five The thief should turn on Dark Sight and go down through the golems. There are several portals. He/she needs to go through each one and collect the passes in each room. Some contain more golems.. make sure you remain darksighted; the golems do 8k+ damage per hit. The rest of the party, go up. Again, mark the portals you go into. Two members should go through each portal. In every room, climb up and jump off the side of the rope onto the chests on the side of the room. The mage with teleport needs to take the top portal. Have him/her teleport (or Haste jump) up into the portal. In their room, they need to teleport directly down into their stage. Once everyone's done, they should drop their passes to their leader, and go through the portal. -Stage Six At this point, someone in your party will probably announce the order to the noob's.. this is it: 133 221 333 123 111. Hit UP while standing on the numbered barrels in that order. At the top is a portal; use it. -Stage Seven Once in the next room, go down to the bottom. Someone in your party will be picked to kill ratz. Every time they kill a black ratz, a Rombard miniboss will spawn in the bottom area. A cleric should have no problem keeping you healed. After it takes a bit of damage it'll summon block golems.. just kill them all and after every Rombard kill, tell the guy who's up killing ratz to kill another one. Another Rombard will spawn. Be careful! Multiple rombards can spawn if the ratz-hunter kills more than 1 at a time, making it difficult to beat this stage. After all the coupons are collected, give them to your leader and go through the portal. -Stage Eight Like the Kerning PQ, but with nine boxes. This can get tedious and the #1 and #2 are coveted, although they're usually reliquished to the party newbie if they're too slow. This is an example of the order, if you don't remember: 12345 12346 12347 12348 12349 12356 12357 12358 12359 12367 12368 etc until you get the right combination. It can get confusing after 1 and 2 start moving, but you shouldn't have much trouble. -You're 1st Real Boss That king slime was a Mini Boss for a reason, it can be soloed at a low lvl... Alishar on the other hand would require a high lvl to solo it like a lvl 47+ BUUUUUT you are a Fighter so you are most likely the strongest there =] so if you 'MUST' be a Hero then solo it at lvl 42+ =]] Once ali is Dead you get to either go to Bonus stage or rush =] Bonus stage = less chance of getting back in, but get some GREEEEEEEEEAT items =] Rushing = High chance of getting back in.
