Journey to a STR. Bandit w/ 3rd job
===============================================================Chapter Prologue/// Intro
Welcome to MapleStory where you can experience a 2D MMORPG game. In
this game you can use 1 of 4 characters. The first character and the
easiest to understand is the warrior. Most people start with this
character because it is simple to make money for the character you
would like to choose as your primary. The second and the most common is
the magician. They are the most common because they can cast spells and
is the only class where you can fight those monsters that are weak
against your spell or magic attack. The third is the archers. These
characters are specialized to kill monster(s) from a ranged position.
Last but least is the thieves. The thieves are the fastest characters
in the game. Fast in killing and moving.
There are two types of thieves are bandits and assassins. Bandits are
close range (like the warrior but much more faster) and the Assassin is
far range (like the archer but much MUCH faster. Many people will
compare them to the magician. Magicians [Lightning magician] have a
combo called telecast; where the teleport then cast, where an assassin
uses haste then lucky seven. They are fast but lower damage then the
bandit, Assassins have to waste more money because they have to make
their weapon and buy their throwing stars. One reason why I do not
prefer the assassin is because of the load of money u need for them.
The bandit can out attack the assassin especially when they have dagger
booster and haste maxed, and if they are a STR. Bandit. You are fast,
lethal, and has one of the highest attacks in the game if you add the
right stuff.

level 1 dark sight sucks. I know. Don’t bug me on it because the only
other skill left is keen eyes. If u raise it then u would need a claw…
if u would want to throw stars become an assassin, but obviously u
wanna be a bandit so put it into dark sight and use it if u wanna see
jr. balrog at level 30.

For those of you that have viewed my guide I have chosen to max endure
before. But I have remade a test bandit and one of the things I chose
to max is steal instead of endure and it helps a lot. It doesn’t drop
mesos for mesos explosion but it does drop items and things like this
I’ve heard works for zakum for items!

Level 118>> 2-Mesos guard, 1-Chakra (Mesos Guard Maxed)
Level 119>> 3-Chakra
Level 120>> 3-Chakra (10 Chakra)**
The reason why I wanted to max assaulter first is because if you
followed my guide you would have maxed disorder. That means the
monsters are weaker which means you get more damage with Assaulter. Why
3 chakra in the beginning? That’s because you get that skill in the
beginning. This skill is very important don’t underestimate it. Having
it in the beginning even three should help you in the early stages. And
I just want to point this out the cold in deep el nath will stop it
from recovering. Why pickpocket? Because if you pickpocket the monsters
you receive more mesos to use for mesos explosion. Now you don’t have
to use your own mesos.
===============================================================Chapter C/// Monsters to kill
===============================================================
Level 1-10>> Green snails, blue snails (Do not get ahead and raise
STR.)
Level 10-15>> Blue snails, red snails, slimes (**NEVER EVER USE DOUBLE
STAB IN THESE LEVELS! A WASTE OF MP WILL TEMPT YOU TO BUY MP POTS!
WASTE OF MONEY!)
Level 16-20>> Slimes, Orange mushrooms, Pigs/ Ribbon pigs
Level 21-27>> PQ (don’t suggest it unless with friends. So don’t waste
time advertising and waiting), Blue/Green/Horned mushrooms
Level 27-30>> PQ like a maniac! (good exp, now worth the wait, and if
you find a right group good items and quantity of PQ’s)
Level 31-35>> Zombie Mushrooms, Horned mushrooms
Level 36-44>> Fire/ Wild boars, Evil eyes
Level 44-49>> Fire boars, Jr. Grupins, Cellion, Lioner
Level 50-59>> Jr. Grupins, Cellion, Lioner, Zombie Lupins(1 hit kill/
good EXP.), still fire boars, ( what I prefer is deep el nath but you
should party with spearmen and cleric)
Level 60-70>> Mushmom (NOT SOLO), Minor Zombies (1 hit kill and with
dagger haste you can wipe out the entire map every spawn), Jr. Balrog
(NOT SOLO), Pangs of all sort
Level 70+>> Mushmom (Try to solo), Jr. Balrog (only try with maxed
assaulter), Balrog, Dark yeti & pepi, Yeti & pepi, Lucida (solo if you
have the balls)
**WHAT I HIGHLY SUGGEST IS FINDING YOUR NEXT WEAPON INSTEAD OF BUYING
IT! AND I AM SAYING THIS FOR 4 REASONS: [1] people will offer
outrageous prices for the crappiest stats [2] you might have to force
your self into buying one that’s not worth the price [3] you also might
force yourself into selling some of the stuff you want to keep [4] why
buy it when you can hunt for it!?
===============================================================Chapter D/// Armors/Weapons
Level 10-11>> noob armor (because nothing can really kill you at this
level), stolen fence
Level 12-19>> orange sporty shirt or white lined t-shirt, grey thick
sweat pants (once again you don’t need the most high tech armor right
now because nothing will do amazing damage)
Level 20-24>> Pao set
Level 25-29>> Brown sneak, brown sneak pants, bamboo hat, make level 25
shoe OR whitterbottom shoes (keeping the fence will be alright from
here too)
Level 30-34>> stealer set, bamboo hat, whitterbottom shoes OR level 25
shoe,
Level 35-39>> entire burglar set, keep level 26 ones, buy panlid (now
is when 10 defense is going to make a difference. Buy a 10 defense
ONLY! No more or less)
Level 40-49>> Pilfer, shadow set, make level 40 shoes
Level 50-59>> China wear set (if you want to keep the pilfer because it
looks better then I guess that’s ok but you’ll be off in defense wise.
Scroll it if your rich)
Level 60+ >> From here on you can keep the china wear because it looks
better or scroll you panlid to a +7 (if you are going to do this make
sure they are all 60%’s because all the other’s aren’t worth it. You
should be extremely rich.)
Level 7-29>> upgrade every time
Level 30-34>> Cass
Level 35-39>> Korean fan
Level 40-50>> Buzlad (get this and scroll it with only 60%'s)
Level 50-59>> Sai (Cha)
Level 60-69>> Serpent’s coil
Level 70+ you can once again use anything you want.
===============================================================Chapter E/// Comparisons
Str. Vs. Luk.>>> [1] Str. is faster
[2] Str. has higher minimum attack
[3] their weapons look cooler!
[4] the one that I do not understand with you
people! If you want the fastest job out their and you make it to the
2nd job and you choose to be the 2nd fastest why the hell would you
want to choose a bandit then!?!? Most people say more attack! If you
want more attack become a warrior. Maplestory has already made a luk
bandit for no reason I am aware of and as far as I’m concerned its just
a waste of space and ugly weapons.
Why a bandit and not a sin>>> [1] I will put this reason into a
question: would you want Assassin 2000*2= 4000 OR Bandit 800*6=4800
If you chose 4800 then you’ve chosen bandit HARD CHOSE HUH! (these are
*rounded* not estimated numbers)
[2] 9 mill for a mere +25 attack is a pain in the ass. I
would never pay that much for a
case of steelies
[3] you have to MAKE your weapon!! Then
you have to
upgrade it to actually make it
good.
Bandit Vs. ALL>>> [1] they look kick ass!
[2] I’ll put this up again “would you want
4800 damage or 4000
damage?”
[3] fancy and awesome 3rd job skills
[4] fastest class EVER!
[5] dagger booster + haste + savage blow = UNSTOPPABLE!
[6] not only are you the fastest class, you do
some awesome damage
Assaulter Vs. Theives>>> [1] using it with disorder makes a great
damage
[2] Assaulter is great going against high level monsters which
means more people want to party you to fight jr. balrog or something
[3] I think it looks better and more people get impressed =)

Chapter F/// Money making suggestions
===============================================================
In the beginning all bandits are poor. Almost as poor as assasins. They
have nothing to train on that drops things except for a green mushroom
and thats about it. It will be hard to get through the first 40 levels
but in the end everybody will be drooling over you when you can one hit
k.o. crimson balrog =P
When you are level 40 and above train on fire boars as much as you can.
find a couple kumbis and sell 'em. something else you should do is get
some cure pots and sell them in ludibrium pq area. Many people will buy
them because of the bosses unique attack. Sell them for 800-1000 mesos
each. You can aquire this through exchange quests. At level 50 you
should have a sai which would last you for 10 - 20 levels depending on
the attack. i suggest scrolling this equipment. The prices on daggers
these days are outrageous and is a nonsense to whoever buys them. 10
and 60% dagger scrolls aren't too bad. they range from 800k - 1.6 mill.
Another good monster to train on for money is fire drakes. They drop
steelies which doesn't seem like a good deal to sell it because it went
down by 5 - 6 mill but assasins are crazy about these stars and will
buy it usually anywhere under 7.8 mill. The newer monsters are at level
30's and drop things like red whips, seclusion wristband, and panlids.
This i think you should look up on hidden-street.net and see if you can
identify a good spot u can just sit and wait for one to pop out. When
you hit around level 58-64 you should try to kill more minor zombies.
they drop teeths which sell real good because people use it in exchange
quests.
The ludibrium pq is an O.K. place to train. They have some pretty good
rewards at the end but the traffic is definetly not worth the wait. the
boss is a pain in the ass (believe me -_-") I had my cleric go in there
and i believe i used heal 4 times before i got cursed. it is almost
like the boss is spam cursing. Of course people would like you to have
disorder. but thats just if you get in.
