Intro

White Knights are the one of the least played characters in the game but have a lot of hidden potential. You all might know me from my infamous Cleric guide which i had like tons of views xD just kidding =D but it still had alot of views. My goal is to inspire you guys into making WK’s or White Knights by showing them there true potential. I understand there 2nd job skills arent the best in thw worl they actually suck immensely. So heres my guide.

Info

This guide explains mainly everything theres needs to know about a paladin level 1-200 guide and might include pictures to show damage, skills, etc.

Why a White Knight?

Pros

  • Elemental Attacks Fire,Ice,Thunder,Holy
  • Mp Recovery Increase

Cons

  • Slowish leveling
  • Doesn’t actually get fun until around Level 80
  • Sometimes needs a lot of MP pots.
  • 2nd job skills aren’t the best out there.\

The Beginning

When you first enter MapleStory, you will have to sign in and then pick a server.
If your new to the game I recommend to choose Khaini, Bellocan, or Mardia or any new server. since these servers aren’t as full and will be easier to train at.

Your Character

Things that really piss me off! When you make a new character please try to choose a unique name.
Here are some examples:

  • Names not to pick
    • HACKERZZ91029330
    • Paladin991029949858
  • Names to pick
    • SasPaldin
    • Palaster

Basically anything random and unique!

Stats

When you’re at the character creating screen you’ll see stats on the side with a dice. Keep clicking the dice until you get the stats to something like the following.
X = any number

Combination 1
Str - X
Dex - X
Int - 4
Luk - 4
Combination 2
Str - X
Dex - X
Int - 5
Luk - 4
Combination 3
Str - X
Dex - X
Int - 4
Luk - 5

Ability Point

I recommend to have your DEX double your level until your at a certain level. Let’s just say you begin with 4 int 5 luck 7 dex and 9 str.

  • Level 1 9 Str 7 Dex
  • Level 2 14 Str 7 Dex
  • Level 3 19 Str 7 Dex
  • Level 4 24 Str 7 Dex
  • Level 5 29 Str 7 Dex
  • Level 6 34 Str 7 Dex
  • Level 7 35 Str 11 Dex
  • Level 8 36 Str 16 Dex
  • Level 9 39 Str 18 Dex
  • Level 10 42 Str 20 Dex
  • Level 15 57 Str 30 Dex
  • Level 20 72 Str 40 Dex
  • Level 30 102 Str 60 Dex

Ok this is where you can choose to keep goin up with dex or not.

TipI recommend to get your dex to 70 or 80 but its your choice to leave it at 60 or not. But there are also many ways to add dex without AP (ability points) For example my White Knight has a +10 Dex cape. I used 5 60% Dex for Cape Scrolls that add +2 Dex per scroll. Each scroll has 60% Chance of working. There different types of scrolls. 100% 60% and 10% there are also 30% and 70% but if they fail theres a 50% chance of the item being destroyed. Each one has differnt + dex Im not sure about this but. Heres a small chart :

Scroll Dex for Cape +Dex
100% +1
70% +2 (Can be destroyed)
60% +2
30% +3 (Can be destroyed)
10% +3

TipIf you REALLY want to push your luck get 10, 10% Dex for Overall and a Sauna Robe and try to get +50 Dex! You can use 10 because it has 10 slots. Some items have less slots.

Type of Item Slots
Rings 2
Pendants 3
Armors(Top, Bottom),Hats,Shields 7
Gloves,Shoes,Capes 5
Overalls 10
